Since I have now gained a fair few fulica I am going to have to mix some species in tanks. Does anyone know if fulica and rectics would breed? I don't want them too!

i wouldnt think so, but there is a chance i suppose, but i know a lot of people who keep them together and have no problem whatsoever. that said i have heard of retics rasping other snails skin

yeh i thought retics sould be kept separate! my 2 albino retics are tough cookies even rasp my hand pretty hard!!

Yeah retics have a very strong rasp, it's very noticeable - I wouldn't keep them with other snails to be honest - at least not as adults. Plus the different heat preferences they have to fulica too.
But they won't breed - the species differences are too significant.

Ooh I've never seen them rasping! I'll have to start a thread with all my species so you can all suggest who lives with who!

Honestly - I'd recommend keeping everything separate tbh. But thats just me. They rasp all the time, it's how they eat just they have a very very strong.... equivalent-of-jaw xD
