hey, after seeing Stix's suggestion of pitures being uploaded so people can see the diffrence between Ovums and Suts i have taken some pictures so people can use them as a refrence. i am unable to upload all the pics onto the forum so i have put them on photobucket. The first two are a comparison of both the margie ovum and sut (ovum on the left, sut on the right), the next 5 are Ovum and the last 4 are sut. the ovum has a peachy yellow colour on the inside of its shell, and the tip of its shell is just a normal shell colour. The sut has a red/pink inside its shell and a pink tip to its shell. s1029.photobucket.com/albums/y351/hopea2/Margie%20ovum%20and%20sut/

I have got a pic of the ovum from the lovely Paul. Thanks paul if you happen to have a look at posts. here is the pic of the sut here is the ovum see the difference in the colour? Just to add I have had ovums that have had a pink tinge the the outside of the shell at the point so only real way to tell is by the inside of the shell.

I know the inside of shell is a way of telling difference but is tip of shell another way? Looking at your album the sut has a pink tip and the ovum doesn't? Or does that vary?

Some suts have a really dark tip and others its a very slight tinge so the best way is by the inside of the shell.
