I have to agree with laurence, I only have a few small tanks with snails in and a few small tubs but I still keep finding the fruit flies oh and when one escapes which didn't happen very often but did once the snail trail across the room was impressive though.

this might sound odd, but i hate hatchlings, i always loose one, and i cant manage them the same, im a control freak with my pets!!!! i used to keep slugs too, i hated when they would squeeze through a tiny gap in their tank, and start to eat the wall paper!!!!!!

The worms are getting on my nerves too. My octona came with some. But other than that i had been free. But i gave them some cucumber the other day (was the last i would use it before throwing it away, but it came from my fridge and was by no means bad) and by the next day every tank had worms and tiny white bugs eating the cucumber. Freaked me out loads cause all i could think was the cucumber already had the makings of these creatures in them...... My fridge got a thorough scrubbing too.

even my tanks covered with towels on the vents get them, I can only think they come from food I put in, bleugh!! Yesterday I bathed snails as I got them out the tank, cleaned it, then bathed them again so fingers crossed

i did the same, snail baths, hot water wash tanks (ouch lol) and fresh made mud. Hopefully will keep them and the fruit flies away for a little bit.
The iredalei where pleased with the change, and have been celebrating with carnal pleasures all day lol.

I wonder if there is a connection between the eggs and the worms!!! If there is then its not good

I'm not 100% sure :/ but I wouldn't know why they would be on the eggs, surely they would be on the food? :/

Cleaned my tanks out yesterday, today the poo was full of worms, I picked it all out then hand fed each snail with pumpkin seeds. Will be on poo patrol tomorrow too!
