As you guys know my i have two margies coming, they were due to come today. They are guaranteed to arrive by 1pm, they havent came, they have 2 heat mats in them but i dont know how long they can last in these temputures. I know they can drive in my street as their vans have gone up and down the street twice today. I attempted to phone but it was busy everytime i called. Iv have sent an email of complaint, but then i recieve an email back saying they will reply in 5 days, so thats no use. I am really concerned they will be dead by the time they get to me!!!!

If they have heat packs in they should be fine, Get in touch with the person that sent them to you to get the tracking number and get them to send you the receipt you then can make a claim and get the full amount you paid for them back as well as the postage. x

it just really annoys you, you pay for it to arrive before 1pm the next day, you have a reason for doing it, and they still cant do it right!!!

Yeah they do get things wrong. Couple if years ago I bought 2 tickets for the chilling peppers and booked posh hotel. However despite the tickets needing signing for they just put them through the door. The door of an old lady 2 roads up who was on holiday! She bought them round day after concert, cost me £500 for a weekend we never got to have! Grr and all royal mail said they could do was ask post man to be more careful!

Are they not best if they can't move? So they don't rattle about?

No laurence, it is better if they are tightly packed, the more so the better. I always pack mine tight. They cannot rattle or get hurt if they are packed properly.

but they could move because there wasn't any soil or moss, but they were hardy snails so will survive

no to both those questions, they are partly retracted, and really hard. iv put them in a warm tank now, to see if that brings them round in the next couple of hours, but im really not hopefull. i thought they wouldnt start smelling untill they were dead a while
